Volunteer
Mission
The mission of the Volunteer Department is to encourage members of our community to join the Sisters of Christian Charity in their mission of providing quality health care in a Christian manner to the people in our community.
We welcome individuals 16 years of age and older to apply.
A minimum 40 hour commitment is required and students must have parental permission for all activities.
Applications for Junior Volunteer positions (High School Students ages 16-18) will be accepted beginning in March 2008 for summer 2008 volunteering. High school students who are part of a senior project program through their school must have their school counselors contact the Volunteer Services Department directly.

Upon receipt, your application will be reviewed and references contacted.

After step 2 is satisfactorily completed, you will be contacted for an interview / information session.
- The final step is to attend a new volunteer orientation class (held once every two months).

- Ability to work in groups as well as with individuals

- Physical ability to perform hospital work
