Focused on the Unique Issues of Women
Geisinger Holy Spirit's Women's Behavioral Health program helps women with emotional and/or psychological problems that arise during pregnancy, after giving birth and as they balance family and work commitments or cope with retirement. Our dedicated behavioral health professionals can help with a wide range of gender-specific issues, including:
- Perinatal and postpartum depression
- Menopausal-related concerns
- Anxiety and stress

- Marital and family therapy
- A geriatric group program that focuses attention on the needs of senior women
- Support groups

Mom’s Place Support Group
Mom’s Place is a free, drop-in support group for pregnant women and new mothers with babies less than one-year-old. Mom's Place offers understanding, information and sharing for women who feel alone, afraid, overwhelmed, sad or worried.
The group meets each Tuesday from 6-7:30 p.m. at 20 Erford Road, Suite 11, Lemoyne. Light refreshments are served, and free parking is available. For more information, please call 717-763-2200.
Maternal Assistance Program
The Maternal Assistance Program (MAP) provides help for pregnant women and new mothers addicted to drugs, alcohol and/or tobacco living in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon and Perry counties. The program's goal is to help mothers raise healthy babies by overcoming substance abuse issues and gaining control of their lives. For more information, click here.
