First-time mom Shana Longenecker gave birth to premature twins, who were rushed into our Neonatal Intensive Care unit immediately after delivery because of medical complications. Shana talks about the experience:

"Just knowing that there were nurses caring for them 24 hours gave us a little peace of mind. The staff, the technology were incredible. Holy Spirit helped save their lives."

Chief Warrant Officer Kevin Wood is a combat veteran and paratroup jumpmaster. when an intense pain in his chest brought him to our ER, our doctors diagnosed an aortic aneurysm - rare and often fatal - and rushed him into surgery. Kevin credits Holy Spirit with saving his life:

"I was treated like a king. the care from the nurses, the staff - it was amazing. I'm very, very lucky to be here. It gives me a new appreciation for life."

Former firefighter and EMS dispatcher Paul Zeigler knew the signs of a heart attack, knew what the pains in his neck and chest meant. From our ER, Paul went straight to the Ortenzio Heart Center for cardiac catheterization to clear almost totally blocked arteries. He recalls the day it happened:

"When the crew got here, I said, 'Take me to Holy Spirit.' I was in such good hands the whole time. The nurses, the doctors...they knew exactly what to do. They saved my life."
