For a complete list of providers, visit www.KeyHIE.org.
Q. What will I be able to view online?
A. In addition to medical information that you upload, Geisinger Holy Spirit automatically uploads clinical information from your hospitalization and from office visits to Holy Spirit Medical Group practices to your MyKeyCare.
Q. Can I allow a trusted family member to access MyKeyCare for me?
A. With your consent, family members may access your MyKeyCare account.
Q. Is my medical information secure and private?
A. Yes. The same patient confidentiality guidelines that apply to your paper records also apply to your online health information. In addition, your online information is encrypted and password-protected.
Q. I receive all of my care in one place, so why do I need this?
A. Unforeseen situations, such as health emergencies, may require you to be seen by a doctor or nurse outside of your area. The Universal Authorization ensures that your health information is available to participating doctors and nurses who are caring for you.
Q. What is a Universal Authorization?
A. When you sign our Universal Authorization, you are allowing the doctors and nurses who care for you at participating doctors’ offices, hospitals and emergency rooms to access your healthcare information. This ensures that you get the best, most efficient care possible.
