Mothers can bring their babies up to 15 months old. “Mom’s Place” is for women who feel overwhelmed, sad, worried, or need extra support. “Mom’s Place” meets every Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 20 Erford Road, Suite 11, Lemoyne.</p>

<p>“Mom’s Place” is led by a clinician from Holy Spirit Hospital’s Behavioral Health department. The group is educational, supportive, and fun. Light refreshments are provided. “Mom’s Place” also hosts family night where women can bring partners or spouses. For more information, please call 763-2200.</p>

Our clinical experts will present information in easy-to-understand terms and answer audience questions. This event is a great opportunity to gather information regarding cardiovascular disease, which is the nation’s #1 killer of both men and women. There is no charge to attend.</p>

<p>Join Holy Spirit Diabetes Services and Wegman’s for a free educational session about pre-diabetes and diabetes. Sessions take place on the second Monday of each month from 6 to 7 p.m. in the conference room in the rear of the dining area in Wegman’s on Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg. Topics vary from month to month. <strong>February’s topic is “Diabetes and Your Heart.” </strong>Attendees will learn helpful tips to keep heart-healthy while dealing with diabetes.</p>

<p>Join us for an informative discussion about Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). ACS is a term used to describe conditions, like a <strong>heart attack </strong>or <strong>unstable angina</strong>, which cause a sudden blockage in the blood supply to the heart. Those at risk for ACS include those who smoke, have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, are inactive, and/or overweight or obese. Holy Spirit staff will discuss symptoms of ACS and available&nbsp;treatment options.</p>

<p>Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month (except for holidays) from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Holy Spirit Hospital Auditorium, which is located at 503 N. 21st Street, Camp Hill. <p>Join the Spirit of Women program for our February workshop. Nina Kottcamp, Coordinator of the <a href="https://www.hacc.edu/ProgramsandCourses/Programs/HealthCareers/Massage-T... Therapy Program at Harrisburg Area Community College</strong></a>, will discuss the basic techniques of massage. She will also explain how massage can help with certain health conditions, such as breaking migraine patterns and reducing blood pressure.&nbsp; Attendees are encouraged to ask questions during and after the presentation.</p>

<p>Stay after the presentation and take part in a free LaBlast Fitness class. <strong><a href="https://lablastfitness.com/about/"><font color="#00476b">LaBlast Fitness</font></a> </strong>is a new type of cardio-dance workout, based on the principles of ballroom dance, but set to modern music and&nbsp;designed to be partner-free. Mandy Kuhn Iglesias, owner of <strong><a href="http://www.atfdance.com/"><font color="#00476b">Always Time for Dancing</font></a></strong>, Camp Hill, will be leading the class. Mandy is one of the few certified LaBlast Fitness instructors in the country and studied under the program’s creator, Louis Van Amstel, ballroom dancing pro and cast member on “Dancing with the Stars.”</p>

The program is designed to provide a secure and healthy walking environment to keep your body moving. Also, enjoy access to Holy Spirit health screenings and educational health lectures.</p>
