Healthcare Education: CPR Training
Holy Spirit offers classes in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for the Harrisburg area community as well as for healthcare providers. These classes are provided on-site at the Hospital in Camp Hill every month throughout the year. The CPR instructional material used for these classes has been developed by the American Heart Association.

Instruction for the lay rescuer
Heartsaver CPR
Topics include warning signs of heart attack and stroke, prevention
of accidental injury, CPR and relief of choking for the adult, child
and infant.
Adult Heartsaver CPR
Topics include warning signs of heart attack and stroke, adult CPR
and rescue of an adult choking victim.
Heartsaver Automated External Defibrillation (AED) CPR
Topics include warning signs of heart attack and stroke, adult CPR
and use of an AED and rescue of an adult choking victim.
Instruction for health care providers (including students)
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
Topics include warning signs of heart attack and stroke, prevention
of accidental injury, use of a barrier device and bag-mask ventilation,
AED and CPR and foreign body airway obstruction relief for the adult,
child and infant.
