Gastrointestinal Services

Physicians and specially trained nurses provide the Harrisburg area with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to the gastrointestinal system. Using specialized equipment called endoscopes, these professionals examine the esophagus, stomach and large intestines. Inpatient and outpatient services include:

· Endoscopic procedures such as sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, ERCP, EGD, EGD with PEGs, EGD with dilation and endoscopic ultrasonography

· Liver biopsies

· pH motility

· Paracentesis

· Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)

· Enterostomal therapy

· Esophageal Motility Lab
