Diabetes Services
The risk of diabetes-related complications can be reduced as much as 76 percent through proper management. Holy Spirit’s specially trained staff at our Diabetes Center provides private, personalized inpatient or outpatient education covering all aspects of diabetes care, including:
· Insulin administration
· Self blood-glucose testing
· Gestational diabetes
· Meal planning
· Insulin pump initiation
· Early management and more.
We also sponsor special events, such as the annual Diabetes Taste-In, an event filled with healthy food sampling and information on nutrition and supplies for those with diabetes.
