Carlisle Family Health Center Welcomes Physician Assistant

Karen Ware, PA-C, is now practicing at Holy Spirit Health System’s new Carlisle Family Health Center.

Ware has 25 years of healthcare experience in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. She has been a physician assistant for the past 14 years. Most recently, Ware was a physician assistant at the United States Army’s Dunham Health Clinic in Carlisle.

Ware has her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska, Omaha NE. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, TX.

The Carlisle Family Health Center, located at 1211 Forge Road, Carlisle, offers family medicine visits by appointment and walk-in care for patients who need same day medical care. If a patient has a primary care doctor, Carlisle Family Health Center will send a summary of medical care provided to the primary care doctor’s office and return the patient to them for follow-up care.
