Scholarship Programs and Educational Opportunities

Pre-Scholarship Program

Students enrolled in any classes that are pre-requisites to one of the following healthcare careers may be eligible to receive reimbursement for tuition and required textbooks.

Registered Nurses, Nurse Anesthetists, Pharmacists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Physical Therapists and Sleep Lab Technicians

Depending on the student's academic institution, reimbursement may cover all or most of the student's incurred educational costs.

All scholarship opportunities are based on staffing needs and are subject to change.

Scholarship Program

Holy Spirit Health System will provide reimbursement for the cost of tuition and required textbooks for students enrolled in the clinical portion of their education for one of the following healthcare careers.

Registered Nurses, Nurse Anesthetists, Pharmacists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Physical Therapists and Sleep Lab Technicians

This program may cover all or most of the student's incurred educational expenses, depending on the academic institution and provides an educational stipend and healthcare benefits.

Three options are available under this program, all of which require a service commitment working .75 FTE or above upon graduation with Holy Spirit Health System:

Option 1: Students working 20 or more hours per week (non-flex) receive tuition reimbursement, healthcare benefits at the full time rate, eligibility to participate in the 401k program with 5% company match, as well as an educational stipend while engaged in full-time coursework.

Option 2: Students working 16-19 hours per week (non-flex) receive tuition reimbursement and an educational stipend while engaged in full-time clinical coursework.

Option 3: Students working in flex/PRN positions are eligible to receive tuition reimbursement and an educational stipend which will be prorated according to the number of hours worked. Limitations apply.
