 Best Places to Work in PA 2012 - Holy Spirit Health System was named one of the “Best Places to Work in PA” in the large-sized company category in 2012. Holy Spirit Hospital was also named “Best Places to Work in PA” in 2011, 2010, 2009, 2004 and 2003.
Harrisburg Magazine “Readers' Choice” 2012 - Holy Spirit Hospital was voted "Readers' Choice" in Harrisburg Magazine's 2012 readers' poll.

Holy Spirit Hospital Awarded "A" for Patient Safety - The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit run by employers and other large purchasers of health benefits, presented the hospital with the "A" Hospital Safety Score. An expert panel calculates the score using publicly available data on patient injuries, medical and medication errors, and infections. 
 
  Harrisburg Magazine “Simply the Best” 2011 - Holy Spirit Hospital was voted "Simply the Best Hospital" for the fourth year in a row in Harrisburg Magazine's 2011 readers' poll. Holy Spirit Hospital also was named "Simply the Best" in 2010, 2009, 2008 and 2004.
 
Devonshire Family Health Center “Simply the Best” 2011 - Holy Spirit’s Devonshire Family Health Center was voted "Simply the Best Family Doctor" in Harrisburg Magazine's 2011 readers' poll.
 
Best Places to Work in PA 2011 - Holy Spirit Health System was named one of the “Best Places to Work in PA” in the large-sized company category in 2011. Holy Spirit Hospital was also named “Best Places to Work in PA” in 2010, 2009, 2004 and 2003.
 
  National "Top Performer" for Quality. The Joint Commission named Holy Spirit Hospital one of the top performers on key quality measures in its "Improving America’s Hospitals: The Joint Commission’s Annual Report on Quality and Safety 2011 report." Holy Spirit ranks in the top 14 percent of all Joint Commission accredited healthcare facilities across the nation. Holy Spirit received top honors for heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia care.
  Society of Thoracic Surgeons Three-Star Rating. Holy Spirit Hospital earned the top rating from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) for the quality of its heart surgery program. STS uses a comprehensive rating system to determine the quality of cardiac surgery among hospitals across the country. Only 12 to 15 percent of hospitals nationwide received this three-star rating, which denotes the highest category of quality.
Central PA 2010 Hot List - Holy Spirit was named as one of the region’s “Hot” hospitals in Central PA Magazine’s annual readers’ “Hot List” poll. The Center for Women’s Health, Camp Hill, was named as one of the “Hot” obstetric practices.

Ryder, Barnes & Associates “Readers' Choice” 2010 - Holy Spirit’s Ryder, Barnes & Associates Pediatrics, was voted "Readers' Choice" pediatrician in Harrisburg Magazine's 2010 readers' poll.

Breast Imaging Center of Excellence - The American College of Radiology recently designated Holy Spirit’s Women’s Imaging Center a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE). The designation is awarded to breast imaging centers that achieve excellence by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the ACR’s voluntary breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules, in addition to the mandatory Mammography Accreditation Program.

Gold Seal of ApprovalTM - The Joint Commission awarded Disease-Specific Care Certification, the Gold Seal of Approval™ for health care quality, to Holy Spirit’s heart attack care program. To earn this distinction, a disease management program undergoes an extensive, unannounced, on-site evaluation by a team of Joint Commission reviewers every two years.

The Best of West Shore 2010 - Readers of the Carlisle Sentinel voted the Holy Spirit Hospital "Best of the West" for 2010 in the survey's hospital category. Holy Spirit Hospital was also named "Best of the West" in 2008 and 2009.
Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care - Highmark-Blue Shield designated Holy Spirit Hospital as a Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care. Blue Distinction Centers for Cardiac Care demonstrate their commitment to quality care, resulting in better overall outcomes for cardiac patients. Holy Spirit Hospital meets evidence-based clinical criteria, developed in collaboration with expert physicians’ and medical organizations, including the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS), and is subject to periodic re-evaluation as criteria continue to evolve.

Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement - Highmark-Blue Shield designated Holy Spirit Hospital as a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement. Such centers demonstrate an expertise in quality care, resulting in better overall outcomes for patients, by meeting objective clinical measures developed with input from expert physicians and medical organizations.

Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery - Highmark-Blue Shield designated Holy Spirit Hospital as a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery by demonstrating its commitment to quality care, resulting in better overall outcomes for spine surgery patients. Blue Distinction Centers must provide comprehensive inpatient spine surgery services, including discectomy, fusion and decompression procedures.

Carlisle Sentinel "Best of the West" Shore 2009 - Readers of the Carlisle Sentinel voted the Holy Spirit Hospital "Best of the West" for the second consecutive year in the survey's hospital category. Holy Spirit Hospital was also named "Best of the West" in 2006.
